Used Car Financing w/o Thai Guarantor

Hi all, 

Though this is an old issue and well discussed too; wondering if anyone has any recent experience of by-passing this stupid requirement.

 

I want to buy an used car from a leaving expat with 25% down payment and 75% financing for 3 years. We (me and my wife - we both work here, having work permit for 3 years) meet all requirements fully: except for having a Thai guarantor.

 

Any tips, contact (any loan sales officer, you had positive experience with waiving this requirement off) would be much appreciated.
