Mexico's boxer Juan Hernandez

 

Mexican fighter Juan Hernandez arrived in Bangkok on Saturday morning, vowing to defeat Nawaphon Nakhonloung in their showdown for the vacant WBC flyweight title on March 4 at Nimibutr Stadium.

 

Surachart Pisitwuttinan, promotor of the No 1-ranked Nawaphon, welcomed the 29-year-old Mexican and his entourage at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

 

The No 2 challenger, with a record of 33 wins and two losses, showed no signs of concern in front of the waiting media ahead of the bout against the top-ranked home fighter.
