Best value sunday roast- Surin/Kamala/Patong

Featured Replies

There are some fairly old posts about this topic, so I am just wondering what are the newest opinions about the "best value" Sunday Roasts in each place- Surin, Kamala, and Patong

I can't comment on those specific areas, unfortunately, but if you stretched your journey a bit you can do no better than Shakers (ex Patong) on the Nai Narn beach road in Rawai. Lamb, beef, pork plus Yorkshire Pud etc, all for 350 baht, and - ALL you can eat! Run by Ollie the Belguim, there's also mussels, etc; check out his web page. Highly recommended.

If you are in Korat on a Sunday go to George and Dragon for a Sunday Lunch or most other days too

A bit too far to go for me to travel, but thanks for suggestions anyways.

Not your region I know but the Islander on the road between Rawai beach and Naiharn beach is the best I had, big plateful, proper meat and 300 baht with a drink from memory, but I had a few Changs so don't guarantee the price!!

I'm not familiar with that part of Surin, Kamala or Patong!

The Islander in Patong is still going after nearly 20 years.
