Swimming pool in Jomtien

Featured Replies

Do you know of any good swimming pools, that are family friendly, in the Jomtien area? I will have access to a car, so transport are of no issue. Saw a post from 2014 mentioning Villa Thongbura, but being Thailand things can change quickly.

Do you mean public ones, most hotel pools are private. The best place for a family is probably Pattaya Park, 100 baht to get in but great pools and sliders.

There is a Hard Rock in Jomtien  now?

No, he is almost certainly referring to the Hard Rock in Pattaya.

Yes, pools you can access by paying a small fee.

I just discovered a "public" pool yesterday.

It's in a Soi in between Soi 11 and 12 (entrance right from Now Hotel).

At the end of the Soi you will find Sea Point Hotel on the left and the pool on the right.

It's basic but clean and not a lot of facilities on hand.

I guess it's the communal pool for the Soi or the area.

Parking is available.

Find one that's salt water ( like many in Jomtien ) so you not have the byproduct of chlorine mixed with urine that is so harmful .

the never ending salt fairy tale :coffee1:

the water of the so-called "saltwater" contains as much chlorine (urine optional depending how many people have peed in the pools) as any conventional pool. chloring is produced from salt using electrolysis.

a saltwater pool is not actually chlorine-free; it simply utilizes a chlorine generator instead of direct addition of chlorine.

How much does it cost to use it?

There is one on the roof of "Mikes shopping Mall"

oops sorry not in Jomtien....

Pattaya park has water slides + mini theme park + tall observation tower, rotating restaurant, and zip wire from the top for adventurous types...the pool is (was) quite cheap for the day.
