Man, woman found dead in SUV at Bangkok petrol station

By The Nation

Two persons were found dead with no trace of injuries inside a sports utility vehicle at a Bangkok petrol station on Saturday morning, police said.

The bodies were found in the driver and front passenger seats of the Ford Escape parked at a petrol station on Sukhumvit Soi 105.

The man was later identified as Tatitya Bunnag, 37, a Kanchanaburi resident, and the woman as Prathuang Thong-iand, 52, from Bangkok.

The station staff alerted Bang Na Police Station at 8.30am.

The driver, dressed in a black shirt and jeans, was found in a reclining position while the woman, in a black shirt and trousers, was in the passenger’s seat.

Police have yet to establish the cause of the death.

Could they have been taking a rest and running Air con  and CO poisoning?

I'm not being funny, but I fully expected the report to say 'no sign of a struggle' and then give the diagnosis of death.  I go with Elkski theory.

I don't see many news reports of the aircon killing passengers,  in the West. Could be wrong.....

Co poisoning should be easy to determine by bib so must be other reasons or family want cause suppressed.

Co poisoning leaves the skin a blue color and other evidence like car running ignition on backed up under a canopy, hose connected to exhaust etc.

Wasn't there another case like this recently where the exhaust fumes were leaking into the cab because they left the engine on to power the aircon?

I wonder if the engine was running when they were found?

yeah, i think it was a woman that stayed in the car while the man was eating and drinking in a restaurant.  Can't recall the exact date or city
