LAMPANG: -- Electricity blackout today in the North has left vast areas in five provinces to be without electricity for almost two hours.

Initially the power blackout was explained by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand to be caused by the power transmission cables at its Mae Moh power generation plant in Lampang were disconnected from the cabling system.

It was not immediately known what caused the disconnection of its 230 kV power cable but EGAT said the problem has been fixed and the electricity supply was back to the system before noon today.

The electricity blackout affected five upper northern provinces which include Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Lamphun and Phayao.

It was during the morning. How can it be a blackout?

And whatever authorities tell you is the reason for a problem, it is a lie. Thais are programmed to lie to deflect responsibility.

Blackout is a term used for when theres no electricity supply, it doesnt littelly mean that everythings black outside .

I do think that theres a word for when people never believe anything other people tell them, although, Im unsure what that word is

It would be one of the antonyms for gullible.
