PHUKET: -- A Swedish tourist succumbed to unidentified health issues in a Patong hotel room yesterday.

“We arrived at the 4th floor room in the Patong Merlin hotel room to find the body of the 27-year-old woman on the bed. There were vomit stains on the bed and blanket,” said Lt Col Somsak Thongleang of Patong Police.

According to the woman’s partner, named by police as Owe Christoffer Sjogren, 27, the two had checked in at the hotel last Wednesday, and were scheduled to check out on April 12.

"Swedish tourist dead at Phuket hotel after injury"

Says the headline! Exactly what "injuries" were present?

According to the woman’s partner, named by police as Owe Christoffer Sjogren, 27, the two had checked in at the hotel last Wednesday

Police have asked to withhold the woman’s name until her family is notified.

Yes Right

Possible reaction to the "medicine" she was given. Vomit stains etc.

Another young life lost.

RIP.

It sounds like that she might have been allergic to the medication having a violent reaction,Maybe antibiotics ?

" They also confirmed that there were no signs of a struggle or room ransacking. "

That's what you get when you stay at a higher class hotel. Plus if your partner is still alive and staying there, probably cuts down on removing "souvenirs"

Yes Right

Yes, right..  Owe Christoffer Sjogren is the name of the partner and not the deceased woman.

What kind of injury did she sustain????

Voting. ...injury....or what?

I thought cops were going to deliver the usual on the spot autopsy ?

As long as we don't know the story the rest will be speculations, drugs combined with med, maybe another illness. Ask her boyfriend.
And if they slept in the same room you can stop that bug spray theory now.

And you don't think the family would know her partners name?
