Swimming facilities in Sakon Nakhon

Featured Replies

I'm seeking some advice from residents of Sakon Nakhon regarding swimming pools. We currently live in Udon Thani, but we are considering moving to Sakon Nakhon which would be closer to my wife's family.

We are tempted because my wife has a job offer with her niece, who runs a successful business there. And that would certainly be welcome since the fall of the pound!

One sticking point between us is that I am a very keen swimmer and will not live anywhere if I do not have access to a good swimming pool.

So, if you know about swimming facilities in S. N. I'd be very happy to hear from you.

Cheers and have a good day.

Sakon has a nice community pool with 2 separate pools. Ask the niece for directions as she should know. Can't see from main road as it sits well off the road. Perhaps other posters are more handy with road names.

Thanks for that. We're going there in a couple of weeks. I'll ask around. The niece isn't much of a swimmer (and is probably too busy anyway). But her young daughter is keen to learn so that should give some incentive to do some homework for me.

  • 3 weeks later...

They are bulding here new water park.

I was driving around last week, it was opened but not quiet finished yet. Pic related.
