By The Nation

A young man was killed and three others injured during a street brawl while engaging in Songkran water splashing in Prachin Buri’s Kabin Buri district on Friday night, police said.

The attack happened in Tambon Kabin at 8pm.

Komkrit Tungthong, 22, died after being stabbed in the heart.

The injured were identified as Yutthana Tungthong, 25, Thawatchai Thanommitr, 23, and Pongsathorn Chanthana, 26.

Police later arrested twin brothers Kittikhun Meechai and Kiartisak Meechai who had cuts on their hands.

The two denied attacking the victims. They said there was a commotion and they did not know who had carried out the attack on the four. They said they suffered cuts on their hands when they tried to pull a knife out of Komkrit.
