True Money convenience store scam

Hi, just a heads up.

I pay my iptv monthly using truemoney top up. Just bought a 500bht slip, took it home and entered the 14 digit number only to have it rejected.

Looked closer at the slip and the date was a month old so phoned up true who told me the 500bht credit was used last month.

Went straight back to the convenience store and spoke with the manager who called out the two girls on the till at the time and who had disappeared out the back when they saw me return.

They were asked if in fact I'd bought the slip and one of them confessed that I had so a refund was swiftly produced.

Never thought I'd fall for such an obvious scam. I will be more awake to it next time and it does leave a bad feeling having it tried on like this.

So nothing to do with TRUE but everything to do with some dishonest counter staff at either a 7 eleven or a Family Mart. Nice to know that have a good manager and luckily the girl wilted under zero pressure. We all know how viewing cctv footage goes in this country!
