BANGKOK — A slew of dates bringing ginger pop star Ed Sheeran through Southeast Asia have fans in Thailand hoping he will pass through Bangkok on his November tour.

When Singapore and Malaysia were added Thursday to his schedule (Nov. 11 and Nov. 14), fans in Thailand became anxious to know if the Grammy-winning, British singer-songwriter would add a Bangkok date. Some are on edge about whether they should buy seats and fly south to see him elsewhere.

I'm 55 and glad to say I have heard of him.

Cant be anything worse than just listening to the same songs/singers 40 years in a row.

Oh and hes a fantastic singer songwriter.

Great concert - He didn't just get up and play. Nope - he made up his own backing tracks as he went along. In this vid, he moves to the mic on the right where he starts singing and sampling while looping back and making a richer and richer set of backing vocals as he goes. Watch his feet as he starts/stops the various samplers & listen for the layers as he's singing... Then he's sampling beats on the guitar - no idea how many layers of loops he had playing all at the same time, all in synch and all created live. Just one guy playing a guitar but making it sound like he's got a damn orchestra and choir behind him. Very ballsy to do this live on pretty much every track and on the last song - the effect was mind-blowing (didn't record that obvs...). Brilliant musician to do all that while on stage & not missing a beat...
