HELP! CM to BKK or Aranyaprathet (with thai GF and 2 dogs)

Featured Replies

We went to the railway station with our dogs in CM today and contrary to what people told me they don't want our dogs (9 and 10 kilos) to get to the train with us (even third class), they only accept *staff room*, but they could die there so it's not a option.

I've ask some taxi guy on FB and he quote us 13k baht to get to Aranyaprathet... way too expensive, we're making a tons of call now to get a cheaper option.

We're heading to Phnom Penh, let me know if you know how we can get from CM to border (or atleast BKK), without paying that much, thx!

+Good luck.  Most carriers forbid (thank god) the carriage of dogs in buses and trains designed for humans.

Some people use the post office to mail weird stuff like motorbikes. You could try that.

Yeah we just got back from the airport, it's 4k baht overall from CM to Ubon for our 2 dogs (1k each CM/BKK, 1k each BKK/Ubon). It seem like the best option so far, if we do that we will cross in O'Smach).

Using the *staff room* is not a option..., the dogs will be alone with the luggage from everyone, and we will be somewhere else. The mortality rate is very high.

Will they let you have the dogs with you in the first class carriage?  Those are private compartments for two people.
