Woman arrested for stabbing Army lover to death

By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A woman was arrested early Monday morning for allegedly stabbing her Army sergeant lover to death in what she claimed was self-defence.

Wiphawanee Naror, 52, waited for police inside the room of a military officers’ residential building on Soi Lat Pla Count 68 in Bangkok’s Bang Khen district.

Police arrived at about 1.30am.

Inside the room, they found Sgt-Major 1st Class Pratyakorn Namuangrak, 54, lying with a knife wound in his chest.

Wiphawanee was taken to Bang Khen Police Station for questioning.

She said she had a relationship with Pratryakorn 20 years ago but the two separated and later got married to other people and started families, before meeting again recently.

Wiphawanee said she had met with Pratyakorn at the flat after he came from his Saraburi base to Bangkok on missions.

The woman said Pratyakorn got angry when she asked him whether he used to take photos with his wife.

She said the sergeant threatened to hit her like he allegedly did in the past so she stabbed him in self-defence.

I thought, this "army lover"- headline would mean, that it was a politically motivated crime...:coffee1:

see .....  should never re-connect after a failed relationship together ...

It nearly always ends up in a bad way.
