Toyota Corolla Ae86 (trueno/levin)....where?

Hi Guys and Girls,

I'm looking for an 80s Toyota Corolla AE86 with either the Trueno or Levin bodystyle.I passed one up a year or so ago and seriously regret missing the chance to buy it.

If anyone knows where there is one for sale,let me know!

i just bought the initial D movie yesterday it rocks!, as history see's it, isnt it the best drift car in the world? LOL at least the Drift King in japan shows it lol

Small fast hot hatch thats rear wheel drive.. Theres a lot to like about that if your a hard driver..

Also the fact that in most parts of the world its a cheap car to purchase means young guys can buy insure and run a car that if well driven can put many larger heavier more plush sports cars to shame..

What do I see i these cars?......well,they are possibly the best/easiest cars to drift with,even in standard form.Both have 4AG engines,rear wheel drive and are light,so perfect for track use.Ive tried Silvias,Skylines and Cefiros,but they are just hard work because of the size and weight plus the expense of engine tuning on the SR20 and RB engines.

So,if anyone has seen any of the AE86 series Toyotas for sale.....let me know.

I havent tried the car you mention but I remember many happy miles spent twisting an rx7 round country roads back home..

For point and squirt at a low low value it was probably the best RWD car I have every had and I have been lucky enough to have some fairly classic cars.. The benefit of a car costing little replacement value was immense..

Just go to a used car dealer. They all have lists of each others cars, prices, everything. They all call one center to check prices. If you ask they can find one for you.

If that fails then go to the track behind seacon and ask the owner if he knows of any for sale as there has been quite a boom in drift racing back there recently.
