Two people were injured when a tanker carrying 42,000 litres of diesel oil overturned in the Wang Nam Khiao district of Nakhon Ratchasima province on Thursday.

 

Police said the accident happened at 11.18am at the Makud Wan Curve on Highway No 304 in Ban Huay Namkhem in Tambon Udomsup.

 

Initially, the section of the road where the oil had spilled was closed to traffic. Later, police cleared one lane for vehicles while waiting for another oil tanker to transfer the remaining oil and the overturned tanker could be salvaged.
