Triple pricing for BTS/MRT from September
Same in TH, to get the 20 baht fare, have to register for some scheme, same as 'membership' in UK for UK citizen. Not seeing any difference. Thais don't join the scheme, pay same as foreigners. -

Civil war in Europe?
Absolutely -- If someone wants to kill someone else for not believing in the same imaginary being, that’s a problem. In some parts of the Middle East and the Sahel in Africa, it’s actually a big problem, but I suspect it’s not so much about imaginary beings as about local power structures and endemic poverty, which makes it easier to recruit young men to become killers. In Europe, however, it’s such a small problem that it can be handled by local law enforcement, as any “routine” murder or attempted murder would be. However, if the violence committed by a minuscule number of Muslims is enough for you to stereotype an entire population, whether that drives you to “hate” them or merely “problematize” them, then, frankly, that’s your problem. -

Trump just made an idiot move
Paramount didn't learn that at all, since they didn't go to court. Had they done so, according to most legal analysts they would almost certainly have won the case, since editing interviews is completely normal practice, for all kinds of perfectly legitimate reasons. The reason they settled out of court is that they were under time pressure to get the Skydance merger done and needed approval from the Trump administration for the deal to go ahead. SIDS - Sudden Infant Death Syndrome - Is Caused By Vaccines
Even the best vaccines are not 100% effective. The Sinovac vaccine for COVID was only 50% effective in preventing infection. Sinovac was far more effective in preventing the serious cases. Between 90% to 100%, according to South American data. Is Sunday afternoon your day to pick nits?
