Why can't I attach JPEG or even Word is a problem

Featured Replies

Hi all tech gurus,

I just noticed that using both firefox & IE in  hotmail /  outlook  I cannot attach photos anymore and even one Word doc took ages ...

I'm running Windows 7  on my Compaq 325 laptop ...

When trying to attach a file it goes to One drive ... then you click the file you want attached but it does nothing ...  I tried dragging ... no good ..

Has anyone else come across this issue   ???    any solution appreciated ..

How can I send /  attach  and photos  ???

I just tried it again after downloading  microsoft Silverlight ...

but I still cannot send the email as it says '  cannot send while attachment still being loaded '   or similar words ....

Not a solution, but maybe try Chrome portable from portableapps.com

I use FF, and when something goes sideways (like a page doesn't come up properly) it usually is solved by going to Chrome.  Granted, it's probably the fault of the various security stuff I've added to FF.

As @bendejo suggests, try a few other browsers, try accessing it using chrome incognito or FireFox private window to see if it's potentially an issue with a browser extension, cookies, or cache.
