Fuel usage on 2.8 Spivo.

Featured Replies

Some peeps the other day enquired what I was obtaining Fuel wise on the Spivo.

As I had only been round town waited till I did a run.

Well today I did such a run 528km round trip. Gas station to gas station. Filled up at the off, refill end.

Fuel Shell V power. Total used was 39.2LT I worked that out to be 13/469km to the LT. Not bad.

Speeds anything from stop to 130kph. Around 100kph through the mountains, North route. Bit slower on bends.

Trip was from K.P.Phet to Phetchabun using the southern route going.

Return via Lom Sak. North route. Both included a lot of mountain roads.

Would expect a bit more without the mountains.

Reading on the Spivo gauge was 8.4lt for 100 km looks like it's a bit adrift.

Forgot to add 1 up me and did use C/C where I could.

Looking good, wish my EV would do that over the hills ... unusual though for the computer to read a worse fuel consumption than actual.

Even using the same garage and same pump may not guarantee refill to the same point every time.

I stick all the fuel-ups for our vehicles in fuelly.com ...

Anyway thanks for info ...

Agree with you on the garage Bit. Can work either way put less in the first time and more in second swings and roundabout's. Whatever not bad economy wise. Never found that my first Spivo gauge was accurate, always read better than what it actually was.
