It's a screenshot from the Internet and posted solely to inform @Cameroni that you don't have to get into anything complicated in order to simply play files on your TV that reside on another device. I just showed how the file list can present itself. Absolutely no need to have all the artwork and metadata downloaded to KODI, for your own files sitting on a laptop, unless you actually want to create a multimedia library. The amount of people who post here solely to antagonise and argue is somewhat of an eye opener. Including those who really have nothing to contribute at all. One pushing IPTV. Another an Android box, (expressly against the criteria given) and a File Explorer and now you insisting that unless it's organised as a full multimedia system, they should not be allowed to use KODI. Your petty argument is in no way helpful nor relevant to the question being asked. Is this the normal behaviour of the people here? -
