Find the Thai holiday & Observation days strange maybe because it being called Thailand.

You think when Siam was first established would be a holiday.

" The history of Thai people was to first establish their own states with there first King of the Phra Ruang Dynasty in 1238 or 1781 in Thai years."

will it be a holiday at all?  will bars close?  alcohol sales?

It's been a good 10 years or so since bars have closed on Dec. 5, so I highly doubt they will close them on July 28.
