Catfight in Amnat Charoen pub district leaves 21 year old woman slashed across the chest with a cutter.

A fight between two women in Amnat Charoen in the early hours of Friday morning left a local woman unconscious and covered in blood from a 15 centimeter long, one centimeter deep cut across her chest.

"Nong" aged just 21 from Bung sub-district was rushed to the local hospital where she is recovering.

A witness to the fight, Yuthaphong Duangjai said that an argument broke out between two rival groups at the Diva Pub.

This spilled out into the street. There a woman produced a "cutter" and slashed the victim across the chest inflicting a deep wound.

The victim ran off before fainting outside the Tawandaeng Pub further along Arun Prasert Road.

Later in the morning Thai Rath contacted Amnat Charoen police who are investigating but were told that they have no idea as yet who the female assailant was who carried out the attack.

Investigations continue.

No idea? Here's a clue. The investigating police should start interviewing the victim, staff and two rival groups at the Diva Pub. Or is this another case of Omerta?  If so, there's always a Burmese woman to take the rap.
