Dr. Chailert Phongnarison - Gynecologist at Sriphat Chiang Mai - Opinions?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

This is a shout out to all the women (and husbands / partners of women) who have had gynecological surgery at Sriphat Medical Centre in Chiang Mai.

I am planning to have laparoscopic uterus removal for fibroids (laparoscopic hysterectomy) with Dr. Chailert Phongnarisorn at Sriphat Chiang Mai, who is CMU's head of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery. He's an amazing doctor face to face, very knowledgeable and enjoys explaining everything, with an impressive CV with foreign training and experience in multiple countries. But, I can't find any online reviews of his skills.

As this is a major surgery and I'm feeling nervous, I'm trying to find anyone who's had surgery done by him to tell me about their experience. Even if your gynecological surgery was done by another surgeon at Sriphat, I'd still be interested to hear what your experience was of this hospital and their general level of care.

I'd be grateful for anyone who had gynecological procedures done at Sriphat with this or another doctor to let me know what they thought.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. If you had this surgery done at another Chiang Mai hospital and felt really happy with the results, please let me know! Doesn't hurt to get a 2nd opinion.

This might be better placed in the Health forum.

We can move it there and leave a link in this forum for max exposure.

Let me know if want it moved.

Hi @CharlieH, I already did that before posting here and someone advised me to also post in the Chiang Mai forum, because I wasn't getting any answers on the health forum...

Thanks though!
