^ That's kind of what it always looks like after major rain.   Same-same every other waterfall or rapid.

 

Not sure you can call it a flood if the thing that's flooded is a riverbed / waterfall.

October 12, have seen heaving flooding in Hang Dong, highway is not passable. Those were on my Thai wife's phone, haven't been able to dig up a link on my own, but I live a few miles from there and the road is clearly not passable.

This was around our area....Only about 8-10" but swift....Rode the bicycles through just to see where it stopped & started...

No where near impassible - but that would take 18-26" depending on swiftness.....

 

Always a good thing to have a heavy 4x4 on tap....

The above pic is just down from us between HD market & Kad Farang.....Not my pic....

 

With as much flat land there is around there it has to be a pretty big mess......

 

The small canal road that we take to get home was above the drain pipe heights last night - that's just where it would intersect with 108.....

 

TV is slow & wouldn't let me add text to the pic....
