A volunteer for the Fine Arts Department has discovered what he believes are apple-snail fossils, ancient human skeletons, and prehistoric artefacts in a Krabi cave.

Niwat Wattanayommanaporn said on Tuesday that the Fine Arts Department had already been informed of the discovery.

According to him, the fossils, skeletons and artefacts were found inside Sa Yuan Thong Cave about 100 metres from the entrance. This cave is located in Krabi’s Ao Luk district.

“I have surveyed the cave alongside local experts,” Niwat said, “Now, locals believe the site has the potential to become an attraction.”

Perhaps they should confirm the archaeological merits first.  Sadly, skeletons are found in Thailand everyday.

Tzzzzzzzzzz by reading just the headline in the teaser, I thought this was about the original script of the Thai constitution...

Hahaha

First order of business is to create an attraction and start charging people. Aren't they cute

Sooo much information here.... in the absence of evidence, it must be true

Neanderthal man found right here in Thailand... who's surprised?

And.... that explains a lot about Thai practices, as highlighted in today's TV.

"Immigration Officers were called to the scene to collect overstay fines and question the ancient man about working illegally."
