beIN Sports Connect + Chromecast?

Featured Replies

just signed up for this delightful service and seen it has the option to stream to a Google Chromecast

i'd like the option to stream to my TV but have never seen a Chromecast for sale in Thailand. Is there anywhere selling them (outside of Bangkok) or is there a cheap Thai equivalent that'll do the same job available?

My experience with the official Google Chromecast from the Google Store has been mixed,  based upon TV brand

Have a 50in Panasonic "smart" TV downstairs, next to the router and the Chromecast won't work on it.  Have a 32in Sony "smart" TV upstairs, far from the router, and it works flawlessly

So don't just assume that your TV will support the Chromecast, since,  like most things here in Thailand,  your mileage can vary

I have two chromecast on each tv. No problems works great. I bought it at the electronics store Bananas in Rayong. Need to have HDMI  on your tv which most have now.

Outside of Bangkok... so can't help you with a retail store but Google shows a few Thai online possibilities e.g. Groov.asia for 1490 baht which is cheaper than some places I've seen before in Bangkok e.g. Gravitech located  in Fortune IT.

I use with Samsung tvs, no problems.
