wifes thai passport expired . re-apply question

my wifes thai passport has just expired this year 2017.

she needs new 10-15 years passport.

she is in belfast-UK

where does she apply

what is cost

how long is the turnaround for new passport 

thankyou very much in advance.

 

we want to return to thailand for a 3 week holiday in december.

I would be interested in knowing how she can get a 10-15 year Thai passport. I may be mistaken but have only ever seen five year Thai passports.

Actually the London Embassy website has complete information on passports along with online appointment system.  But passports are only issued in person so it would mean a trip to London unless Embassy makes a visit closer (currently advertising Scotland).

My Thai wife recently got renewal ppt in Phuket. They are 5-years, very efficient service.

Seems to address the requirements and clearly states that a Thai ID card and old passport is required when applying for a new passport.  

 

"Thai nationals must bring his/her Thai Identity card to submit the passport application.

 The applicant should always bring original identical paper works, passport and official photo ID to contact the Embassy"
