Started looking at the cheapest new basis truck deals in Sukhothai area the experience so far.

Mitsubishi web ad was 2.4D 2 door Triton Mega cab with a rear opening cab door, m/t 547k,  at dealer 581k and steels rims not ali rims as shown in ad picture, they would knock off 30k if you didn't want 3 year insurance deal, so 551k,  deposit 146k.

Toyota Revo 2.4D 2 door smart cab, no cab opening door, wind up windows m/t 599k,   nearest to Triton was 699k and would only do with ali rims,  deposit 140k.

Ford Ranger 2.2D 2door super cab with a rear opening cab door, m/t 6 speed, nice looking steel wheels, 545k, deposit 90k.

Off to see soon the Isuzu 1.9D offer,  Chevi,  Mazda, & Nissan.

My sentiments exactly. I went shopping for an Everest and came out with a Ranger after wondering if you could transplant a Ranger's nose onto the Everest to improve its looks. Ended up getting a car with all the same electronic gubbins for half the price of the Everest. Its lighter and has a proper gearbox too.

Sounds a good price bud....

Thanks when looking all truck makes and the Ford deal can't be bettered by any other makes without 100,000 extra.

My Mrs needs a work vehicle it was getting silly piling stuff into the Yaris,  must say with the back seat taken out it certainly held a large load.

It started getting a bit stupid though and definitely over-weight problems.

Will miss the cute little car it was tricked up a bit and took corners like on rails.
