Early morning drama as Thai man threatens to end it all over his girlfriend

SAMUT PRAKARN: -- A video on Tnews showed a Thai man holding a knife threatening to kill himself earlier Tuesday morning in Samut Prakarn.

 

The man was seen behaving in a stressed manner and had then grabbed a Som Tam seller's knife and cut himself in the throat.

 

When police arrived in Soi Thai Prakan 1 they tried to talk him round as blood poured from the self inflicted wound.

 

But as the situation escalated locals decided to take matters into their own hands. The man was surrounded then taken down as the knife was retrieved.

 

Pramet Khanchalee, 28, was taken to hospital by medics at the scene.

 

Locals told Tnews he had been arguing with his girlfriend at their place in nearby Soi 3.

Nice to know that the somtam vendor got their knife back ! and consider that his girlfriend probably threw him over because he was playing around all over town as Thai men do.
