Three students wanted for fatal skytrain brawl surrender to police

Three students at the Pathumwan Institute of Technology (PIT) turned themselves to Pathumwan station police yesterday (Aug 17) after they are wanted for the fatal brawl on the skywalk at BTS national stadium station in Aug 1.

The violent fight resulted in one dead and two seriously injured.

The three students are Pattarapol Poolkasem, 22, Visarut Sarim, 20, and Tritip Sapsophon, 23.

They denied all the charges and said  they would defend themselves in the court.

They were later granted temporary release on a 200,000 baht cash bail each by the police with reason that they had no behaviour that showed they would escape.

Appalling, despicable, outrageous.. Call it what you want, but when these brain dead idiots go around murdering one another in public for absolutely no reason whatsoever, then you really have to ask why it is in the public interest to release them on bail.

Pai Dao Din spent 8 months in detention before his trial and his only offence was sharing the same story 2600 other people did.

Another example of Thailand's scandalous legal system at its absolute worst ??

No behavior that they would escape...... the Rebull guy also did not show that behavior xx years ago....

Yup and the 'authorities' haven't got a clue what is wrong with that! :post-4641-1156693976: "Shoot the messenger" mentality.

I was surprised that their faces weren't  blanked out? Yes, even with the masks. It is a new Thailand.
