Can some one advise me on the best way to pay for purchasing a new vehicle?

from a dealership..? I don’t really want to walk about with money drawn from a bank, Have you bought a new vehicle from a dealership, and how did you pay for it

Not on finance but a cash deal.

Un less you are thinking of buying a brand new BMW, most average new cars/suv's are 1.5-2 million baht. That amount will easily fit into a small kit bag. Thats what I did when I bought mine :o

Its just the thought of having to count all the money in the bank, in full view of all the farang on lookers !!

what did you do about this ...?

Its all done by the money counting machine and then put into 100,000 baht bundles. As long as you watch the number on the machine (they normally double and triple check it) for each 100,000, you dont need to count it, just put it in your bag and off you go :o

The best and easiest way is to go to your bank and have a bank check made out to the dealer. Safe, easy, cheap and you have a receipt.

Totally agree with Gary. This is the best way to go.

its called a bankers draft mate that means its as good as cash and its also safer as its made out to the dealership,

mind you when we bought our pick up we just took the cash to the dealers well my wife did anyways.

Completely agree with the above posts.

Bank draft is the safest/easiest method of payment for large sums, is as good as cash and paid out to exactly the person/entity written on the check. If stolen, it would be useless, can also be cancelled (you should ask the bank about the exact details).

Happy shopping.
