webfact Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Woman found strangled to death in Samut Sakhon motel By The Nation BANGKOK: -- A woman was found strangled to death in the room of a motel in Samut Sakhon province’s Ban Praew district late Tuesday night. Pol Lieutenant Sunthorn Rakkhumkaew, an officer at the Ban Praew Police Station, said the body of Jaruwan Promma, 23, was found on the bed of the motel room on Ban Praew-Phra Pathone Road in Moo 8 village, Tambon Ban Praew. A hotel staffer, Thanawat Tonpho, 35, told police that the woman arrived with a man on a motorcycle at 11.25pm. Thanawat said the man paid for the room and led the woman inside although she appeared to hesitate. She was heard saying she would like to go home. About 30 minutes later, the man came out alone and rode away on his motorcycle. Thanawat said he thought the man had possibly gone out to buy something. When he did not return for a long time, Thanawat knocked the room door but no one answered. He then opened it to find the body. Jaruwan’s mother, Jirapha Promma,43, said her daughter left home to meet someone at a superstore at 7pm and did not return. She said she did not know about her daughter’s boyfriend. speedtripler Posted August 24, 2017 Posted August 24, 2017 Hotels Only have to record non thai guests to immigration. 2 thais would probably not be questioned at all, especially at a short time motel
