  1. If you are a Trump fan, then there would be no point in any discussion, anyway. You cited only one book - stop being over-defensive! There is no call for being offensive - keep it to yourself!
  2. You have "used" that book as an example in context of current affairs and your associated comment of "could it happen to me"? But I am not about to argue more on this point!
  3. And Me too? Some Forum Members, doesn't include me, that wish in a general sense to send "them" back just because - that is prejudicial and not my style! As it relates to you, personally, I have responded to comments of yours but never to suggest you go back to where you come from - out of casual interest, is that England or USA? I do think that the book you highlight above suggests an exaggeration of what personal (mis)apprehensions you may have especially as that relates to internal politics in a country and not the opinions of a few bigoted people on social platforms.
  4. I have not actually engaged with or even met any Russians but meeting a stranger of any kind depends on the circumstances of the meeting and that in turn determines how either of us will start and continue some kind of dialogue. Some Forum Members are keen to send "them" back and equally so, the Chinese and the Indians for different reasons. Personally, I am friendly to all those I meet and all are happy to return the same level to me! Where people (strangers) are from is only of casual interest to me!
  5. Promises like these do not happen overnight. What happens overnight in Pattaya is trouble, positively "bustling" with it!
  6. No, not all of us! I am more interested in the similarity between HER and the contents of previous posts of yours that believe the flaunting of one's Rolex and a requirement to let the assembled bar populace aware of your absurd wealth so that the women swarm around you like flies, later to boast of it to us here on the forum is - a coincidence?
  7. On this recommendation, I have been to the teeveeing website but can find nothing about watching the Euros or indeed anything remotely connected with any sport. There are no Sky Sports, TNT and even Eurosport Channels are not showing as being covered by the service. In an attempt to find out from them, through the chat box that doesn't work and the email I am trying to send comes up with a constant error message has left me coming back to you to see if you can help me! Thank you
  8. I would like to add that you might like to engage a Qualified Surveyor to establish potential building complications such as land subsidence or subject to flooding; many houses in Thailand are built on "stilts" to avoid major indoor flooding, particularly in the wet season and or near water sources!
  9. There are definite signs that others have mentioned. My suggestion is simple - don't go to places where they are! That is Pattaya, Phuket and places well known to most in Bangkok- especially in Bars. As a general point, it is unlikely you will find a suitable woman for a meaningful relationship in bars. Even though I have no relevant experience in mistaking ladyboys for "real" women, I feel confident that some reasonable conversation would surely reveal some matters that didn't "add up" Good luck in not ending up (UP) there!
  10. There will be very few people on this forum that have information about which there is little known specifications that doesn't even speak of foundations and a house plot size; in addition to which if such a thing was relating to current economic conditions. No builder worth his salt should be building houses with no proper drawings! Look at some newish houses around and if you like them somewhat, ask who built them and get them along to get a quote. But you will need to be a lot more specific about what you want, As someone said: insist on labour and materials issues to be quoted separately, not to mention a timescale, all of which requires a binding contract between you.
  11. My serious reply: "Like most Thai women". Misogyny doesn't work well with women, especially those one is married to!
  12. I feel very satisfied that my knowledge of ladyboys is limited to what I read on here.
  13. But the divorce rate is over 50% indicating to me most women don't make good life partners. You sure only the women don't make good life partners? Plenty examples of men, just in this forum!
  14. I am more interested in input rather than output
  15. Thais don't know how to boil potatoes, a "salad" is just a piece of lettuce, can't do nice french fries, toast in most places, including hotels that should know better, is just warm bread! An "American" breakfast - we can only guess what part of America they learned from! Don't roast or bake anything Bread, cakes and desserts very little idea at all! My Thai wife likes my Western-style cooking. And she now cooks my more appealing rice than the mediocre stuff served up in most places
  16. No, that was my only question and yes, I would still like to receive a response for that question which arose in the first place from an example of anybody. It is a "what if"? Although I wasn't referring specially to the OP, it is nevertheless true that he was suggesting a two week holiday and that would more than likely be on a tourist visa!
  17. Yes, I know. I am asking a general question about 6 month passport validity!
  18. I can call things what they are! I have been living in Thailand; embrace its culture and its people and haven't lived for the last 21 years in my country of birth. I was born in Birmingham but I have had homes in at least ten other cities in England and wherever I lived it was home! Now I live here and it IS home! I have a certificate of residence that means I am not a guest or casual visitor but a resident. And I am planning to stay here because I have a stable life!
  19. So a ten year passport actually only worth nine and half months! for travel! Why deny boarding with a tourist visa?
  20. Arising from US political issues, my Huawei tablet, now 3 years old, was downloaded at purchase time, with Gspace to allow for certain Google apps to operate. This includes YouTube, Google Playstore, GMail and unfortunately, any App subsequently downloaded including my VPN, automatically goes into Gspace. All these Apps are subject to the vagaries of Gspace and its constant adverts. And for a few months, all those Apps are also being subject to daily error message stating that Gspace isn't working properly and have to close it and start again later. YouTube in particular is a complete waste of time. I have a couple of questions please: There is a facility for me to delete Gspace itself but I am concerned it will delete all the Apps within it! Will that happen? Secondly, is it possible to take out the Apps, not connected with Google, so I can access them separately? Out of Interest, I also have a Huawei phone but that doesn't have Gspace Thank you
  21. Well, the title didn't say anything to me - I had to click to discover it in another language!
  22. You made a statement as fact when it wasn't, so I corrected it - nothing to do whether it is fair or not
