Emirates have recently introduced pre-ordering meals so that should be a thing of the past once it's fully rolled out.

The links above should be enough but here another one with directions from Jomtien Beach. Directions. If you're using the baht bus look for this sign on your right - you can see the FedEx logo - just after Soi 29/1

I don't know who else you tried but Etihad do according to their website so you may just have got someone who didn't know all the options. Ignore the upsell to "Comfort" which is probably more popular and ask for "Neighbour free" instead. The GDSs (airline booking systems) even have instructions to agents what to enter and where, to designate the extra seat appropriately. https://www.etihad.com/en-us/fly-etihad/our-cabins/economy-class/choose-your-seat

Think it's this area just before you reach the remains of the Woraburi. The Street View photo is from last year and doesn't show the pool/restaurant/market that's at the roadside nowadays. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@12.9370702,100.8975339,3a,75y,300.87h,83.32t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1s1SoabkF4-ZW5_1UhMcW1gA!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3D1SoabkF4-ZW5_1UhMcW1gA%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D65.19056%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

Have you flown domestically since late January? The CAAT issued an edict that passports would now be required for domestic travel by foreigners but I don't know whether anything has actually changed in real life.

Most airlines have this option as they know there are bloaters who won't fit in one seat or people not wanting to put their Stradivarius violin in the hold. Every airline will have their own procedures but it can often be as simple as putting "Extra Seat" as the second passengers name. You do not normally get additional luggage allowance when purchasing an extra seat and you don't pay any passenger charges or taxes.

Why do super markets insist on re stocking shelves during the day?
treetops replied to Asquith Production's topic in Isaan
They'll soon learn eggs aren't chilled in supermarkets in Thailand and put them on the floor next to the correct shelf. 🙄 -

So you were wrong, maybe realise it now but still refuse to admit it, and throw in some clutter about age and quality of replies when you are the only one so far to have posted something totally off topic in the thread which asked about whether the government approval for a flight is likely to be a formality or not. For other readers who may have higher comprehension levels, the OP wants to fly from CNX to somewhere in Australia and has no need to enter Malaysia. The system being introduced is only for those entering Malaysia though immigration channels and will allow them to use the auto-gates on future visits.

Seatguru is becoming less and less helpful as it's no longer being updated (no money in it for it's owners Tripadvisor). I can't comment on Seatlink mentioned above but I've been using aerolopa recently, although I've found Bangkok Airways doesn't feature on it.

Agreed, one time I flew with hand baggage only I got pinged at boarding for a documentation check. They mentioned it was because I hadn't been to check-in where it would normally have been checked. I've known them tannoy in advance at the gate for this too in order to reduce any holdups on boarding.

Overstay, ban and Laos

The first airline most likely won't let you board without valid documentation for where they're taking you. -
Had one years ago - sebaceous cyst - so wind your neck in you numpty.

Idiotic thread. Please don't prolong it. -
Medical advice from flickwits like this? This forum needs sorted out.

Several comments on FETs here and whether Wise can supply them. The answer is on Wise' website and is no they can't, as they are not authorised to do so. That doesn't rule them out of the equation though as the FET would be available from the partner bank used by Wise. https://wise.com/help/articles/2932335/guide-to-thb-transfers

Dealing with forgetfulness....
treetops replied to WhiteHatPhil's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I can confirm that there is now the option on Kasikorn ATMs to do a cardless withdrawal from BBL accounts. -

Dealing with forgetfulness....
treetops replied to WhiteHatPhil's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
No idea. I was withdrawing from my BBL account at a BBL ATM and just caught a glimpse of the others as I went throught the process. Now if someone reports I can use my BBL cashless withdrawal facility at another bank then I'll give it a go to find out. Kasikorn is the obvious one if I recalled my experience correctly. ETA: I don't get charged a 10 baht fee anyway as my backup ATM is a Kasikorn and I would have noticed. I seem to recall it's limited to so many withdrawals per month (or something like that) are free.
