https://aseannow.com/topic/1241360-us-customs-refuses-to-ship-i-phone/ Probably better to buy a used or new one here? Your phone is unlocked and - I'm not familiar with iPhones - will work in Thailand? It should, on 4G/LTE anyway.

Mods should correct the headline, re: test and timetable. It's one day, not (a mere) 24 hours. So in theory could be up to 47:59 prior. All air passengers 2 years or older with a flight departing to the US from a foreign country at or after 12:01am EST (5:01am GMT) on December 6, 2021, are required show a negative COVID-19 viral test result taken no more than 1 day before travel, or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days, before they board their flight. Can be a NAAT or antigen test. NAAT https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/pdf/Amended-Global-Testing-Order_12-02-2021-p.pdf See page 23 for test definitions: https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/pdf/Amended-Global-Testing-Order_12-02-2021-p.pdf

5G in Thailand. What is your experience?
mtls2005 replied to phetphet's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I experimented with all three 5G's offerings. You can add-on 5G to a AIS/One-2-Call pre-paid SIM. They should be sending you SMSes? Or use the MyAIS app. If you want to experiment press *777*7503# Send. 1.5 GB max speed, for 24 hours for 25 baht. There's gazillions of other options. I assume your phone supports 5G on AIS's network. AIS Coverage: https://www.ais.th/5g/en/coverage.html?intcid=5gindex-th-banner-coverage -
Covid extension 30 or 60 days?
mtls2005 replied to Big Bert's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Did you leave and return recently? Is this your first extension since entry? If so the first extension is 30 days, I think. After that you can get a 60 day COVID extension. -

Agreed. But I had only recently installed an SSD. In hindsight though, I would follow your recommendation.

We'll see. I'll check when/if I get this. There are already two QR codes, from Mor Prom leading to the same record. But these "look" different from the OP's image so who knows. Correct. New or Pink ID work if inputted at vaccination. https://thailand.prd.go.th/ewt_news.php?nid=12041&filename=index The Ministry of Public Health has announced that it will issue the e-Vaccine Passport for those who have been vaccinated in Thailand, free of charge. Anyone who wishes to be issued the e-Vaccine Passport may make a request through the "International Certificate" menu in the Mor Prom application on their phone. The QR code for the e-Vaccine Passport will be available within three working days after the request has been approved and can be scanned on the next day. The free service will be available between 1 and 31 December 2021. If you have any further questions, please send a message through their page at <http://www.facebook.com/Mohpromt>. 3 December 2021

It's supposed to be a "Digital" certificate, compatible with the EU standard (I think). I wonder if it is, and if the QR code is different than the ones on "Digital Health Pass" and "COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate"? But looking back on the "gift" announcement, I see the details were sparse. Thailand is planning to issue free e-vaccine passports for people going overseas. The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) said on Friday the electronic version of the Covid-19 certificate will be available for download on Mor Phrom application. "Travellers should check whether the country they plan to enter accepts the electronic certificate," CCSA spokesman Taweesilp Visanuyothin said.

Could be. I was using this: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/federal-holidays/#url=2022 2022 Holiday Schedule Date Holiday Friday, December 31, 2021* New Year's Day *If a holiday falls on a Saturday, for most Federal employees, the preceding Friday will be treated as a holiday for pay and leave purposes. (See 5 U.S.C. 6103(b).) I too just assumed the Jan 3 was the holiday.

I think this is available now via the Mor Phrom app, Digital e-vaccine cert is free , per the pm's promise of a new year's "gift". FWIW, I think these are now available via the Mor Phrom App. Update the app to the latest rev. 0.6.8 for Android Have a scan/jpg of your passport in/on your phone Open the app, press on International Certificate, then the Yellow Box "Request for a COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate . Fill in the data, since they mention a "delivery" (of the digital certificate, via the app or email) window of + three days, I chose December 11 for the delivery date. Seemed to work for me, obviously no certificate yet, but it does show as Booking Successful in the Tracking Status menu.

Uhm, there's ~ 50,000,000 people on the line for you, calling from 1918-1920. Well there might be had they not perished.

Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccine where to get??
mtls2005 replied to anandra's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
The French embassy imported some early on (June/July-ish) for the initial vaccination efforts for some of their (older) citizens here. Also said to be grey-market smuggled into Sa Keo from Cambodia. -
Are you not satisfied with the Lucky Number or Daily Horoscope messages? ???? Prepaid or postpaid? Maybe just call? I mean they are a phone company, and you have a phone, and they have CSRs available 7x24.
