I rarely read all the posts, especially if more than 10. Usually read last post (enter forum on 'new content'). Might read the OP, or just reply to the title. Avoids a lot of 'drivel' and keyboard 'handbag slinging' I think many do the same, so incase they missed your post, they got the info from mine JIC they didn't know, but thought the frozen thing was common knowledge, as should be for people that eat sushi. Why would you not research what you are eating, especially raw.

Why not, it's simply too easy to do. Same as OP, not paying someone to submit my paperwork, when I can do it myself, usually less than 1 hr ... 2 hrs max. Spend that 'fee' on something I actually want. Don't need to spend it on saving time, as I have plenty of that.

For the prices some restaurants charge, I don't expect to leave and be hungry by the time I get home or within the hour. Sad when you leave a restaurant, then hit a BK for a Whopper within a hour of. Here/TH, most times you get what you pay for, with those <100 baht plates/bowls of food. Been impressed a few times, but usually takes 2 items off the menu for a meal, if not 3, unless just snacking, which most serving sizes are.

Whipped up a quick & easy pizza, for lack of better name. Used one of my flatbreads Simply sliced tomatoes for 'sauce base' (too lazy to make sauce or do dishes) Some spices Grated some cheeses Popped into air fryer to melt all together ... damn tasty Thought about putting roasted peppers on it, but instead served as side dish. Tested a pepper hot (microwaved) and taste better not hot. New York Style pizza fan myself, and in a pinch, Pizza Co's version will do, though a bit different from their original. Outer crust wasn't as soft and chewy as before Not sure chain wise, or just that one did it different. Rest of crust, under toppings was fine. 18" not longer on the menu, only 15" If at Krung Thep, SoHo Cantina (Soi 11) does very good pizza. Though daughter said 'they'll slipped a bit' since last time wife & myself have eaten there.

That why in the real world, sushi must be from frozen seafood.

As with most things here ... "if you can't find 'XXXXX' you're really not looking very hard. Pineapple on pizza & good pizza ... blasphemy or at least, a contradiction of statements. I've had more than a few very good pizzas here/TH. Most prepared by the local, and yet to have a excellent one prepared by an Italian.

Anything that can't be recycled, can be used for energy. It's just cheaper to throw it away. All about $$$ / ฿฿฿ and nothing else. TH even has a couple plants, although there should be 1 or 10 in all the provinces.

One can only hope diesel is banned in the future, though certainly won't be in my life time. Could easily be done in personal vehicles, but that's obviously not going to happen. TH is only country that got past research or a recon visit. If I have no desire for an extended holiday there, after a few visits, no need to consider for a retirement destination. Though most scratched off the 'list' of possible locations, was more about weather. Even the USA (home country). Tornado alley & hurricanes along SE USA & Caribbean, to Yucatan and even W coast of Mexico. Political unrest & drug cartel/kidnappings of S. American was a negative. Even though I would have picked up Spanish again easily. Cold air from Canada half the year scratched a good portion of the USA also. If not for the wee one, may not have remained in TH, so I can understand those that don't retire overseas because of family. Half year of smog in NE of TH, and the brutal heat & humidity can definitely turn a person off of TH.
