webfact Posted September 5, 2017 Share Posted September 5, 2017 Sa Kaew businesswoman arrested for allegedly duping villagers By The Nation Police arrested a businesswoman in Sa Kaew province on Monday night after some 30 villagers alleged that she cheated them out of their vehicles. Sa Kaew police arrested Phayao Thukhammee, 44, at her house in Muang district at about 10pm. The arrest was made under a court warrant issued after the villagers submitted complaints to the Interior Ministry, accusing Phayao of buying their farm trucks and other vehicles by paying them with bogus cheques. The villagers said when they demanded their vehicles back, they learned that they had been resold. They said the woman kept on postponing the repayments for the vehicles.
