Hi all,

My name is Alastair, I'm a 27 year old from London moving to Bangkok in October for a year. 

Bit of a long shot, but I was hoping to play football for a local side in the Thai football league while I'm here. As I will have to juggle this with my work commitments I was looking for a semi-pro/amateur Bangkok based team playing in the third/fourth division. I've previously done the same in the Philippines playing in their premier division and also played semi-pro in the U.K. 

I've tried contacting the clubs via email/facebook but with no response so far. Does anyone have any idea how I would speak to someone at a club about a trial? Failing this, any suggestions of a regular decent standard kickabout would be very welcome!?

Bangkok Casuals league is the place to look for competitive, non-professional football. 

 

I'd suggest contacting one of the teams and asking to train with them.
