Nong Khai Lap Pools

Featured Replies

I'm looking forward to bringing my son and his family for a visit to Nong Khai over the winter holidays for a few weeks. His boys are heavy into swim team and need a pool for training. Does anyone know of a good pool in the area that is open to guests? 50 meters would be best  but 25 will do.

Many Thanks.

I'm in Udon Thani now, found some pools here that are adequate. Will  check some of the hotels in Nong Khai this weekend. Not much showing up on Google searches though. Seems there ought to be at least one hotel there with good pool.

Try agoda.com and apply the swimming pool filter.

The public can use an Olympic size school pool in Nakhon Phanom. Maybe similar is available in Nong Khai area.....Local knowledge required.

Not many options in nong khai. Only one with public access used to be the Royal Mekong Hotel. Hardly used these days so i would contact them first to see if the pool is open.

Other hotels with pools like nong khai resort would not be suitable for doing laps, too small.

Perhaps Budsabong Resort but not sure if open to none registered guests.

Good luck.

It's been an education. Agoda etc, are good at showing which places have pools, as for if they're good for training it's hard to tell from the info given.  I'll have to spend some time over  in NK searching, we may end up  staying in Udon Thani.

Thanks all for your input.

Do the search on Agodo or Booking.com (I use booking.com) and when you've got the hotel name your better going on the hotels website, that's what I do when looking for rooms.

Reserved  a place in Khon Kaen by the lake. There's a full Olympic sized pool just up the road.  Thanks guys for your input.
