A+ Blood needed in Chiang Mai Urgently

Mr. Josef Emil Stutz at Chiang Mai Ram Hospital HP No 639693 ICU needs urgently Blood Group "A RH + "

Anybody who has this blood type please go to the Chiang Mai Red Cross at Rachapkinai road (behind Yuparat school) and mention above info of Mr, Stutz

Received via LINE from Swiss Honorary Consul in Chiang Mai just now

Is it possible for other blood groups (O- O+ A-) to donate too, as per the chart below?59d5faba81b37_images(1).png.b83116f2638bec92c99c1d3413e1487f.png

As above, and O+ is available by the bucket load.

I have O-.I can give to anyone. The only problem is I can only receive O- blood.

I tend to be just A little more careful because of it.

It's 8 am Fri 6 October. Is the blood still needed? I have blood type A+ but we live like 35 km away from that Red Cross Center.

Hello,

An update would be good. I could come but it's a 1h30 drive so as previous poster, would like to get an update.

I'm also on medication (Xarelto - anticoagulant) so don't know if it's an issue.

I am A+ and live in CM. I am just down by Central Airport working. I can go to the Red Cross immediately if still needed.

I regret to inform you that Mr Josef Stutz passed away during the night.

Thank you to all those who expressed concern or offered to help

My condolences to his family.

Would you mind telling us what happened and what went wrong?

I have A+, but I'm in Bangkok, added to which, the Red Cross seemed to have an issue with blood from UK citizens (or others) resident in the UK  between 1985 and 1997 - dates not accurate. Apparently SARS, but more likely JCD; but concerns some twenty years later had me somewhat bemused at what problem there could now be.

I suppose someone in an emergency situation isn't going to be fussy, anyway.

Obviously I hadn't read to the bottom of the posts. My condolences to his family.
