Indeed, in a Widescreen TV ad for Toshiba recorded two years ago in Bangkok - you could see me for 2 seconds, trying to look excited when they scored a goal on the telly for the umpteenth time.

They paid me 2500 plus food for one day's work, taxexile, a lot better than back in your day. :D

Also, I got the phone number to 2 of the Thai models who "starred" in the ad, but they were so vain and fake I never ended up calling either of them. The sweetest girl at the set was of course the director's GF. :o

been on the news in my home country twice as a boy when our neigborhood flooded (does thet every ten years). I was stuffed a microphone under my nose by a local celebrity called "sergio" when it was sitting on a terras last summer.

He wanted me to demonstrate a Massage on his Barby Doll ???????

Was for a comic interlude i must say.

Then an appearance in a local quizz show called "1 against hundred" .

Didn't win anything though :o

For seavision:

Look at the demo , was good but found it to be a litlle bit to much "james bond goes animal hunting " for a nature documentary .

America's most wanted :o

Just kidding! I think

I been on tv for several football games and one wrestling tournament.

Also I was on Japanese TV showing rapelling techniques that the U.S.Army could use to help then out in case of a building rescues. another time I was dropping from about 1800 feet in the air but you really could not see me that good.

I have had several philipino bg's tell me I look like a movie star.

Did they tell you that before or after you paid up ? :D

That was the common line to try to get you into the bars back in the early 80's

"G.I. look like a movie star"

Yes which character do you play on CSI Miami J? That show is very popular on the pearl farm here.

I am currently in my own film, a documentary about a group of scientists, forestry rangers and a 7 foot 4 inch former Chicago Bulls basketball star traisping around dense jungles on an island off the coast of Myanmar looking for rare animals and rogue elephants. It was great fun to make.

We had to put up with leeches, snakes, the local plod, and a regular shortage of lime for our Gin and Tonics to complete the expedition.

Link for the promo is here if anyone wants to download it, although its 22mb and it doesnt work in every browser. If anyone does manage to see it, let me know what you think!

Anyone been in a blue movie? :o

I just watched it , Seems pretty interesting. I liked it. :D

It seem like most of us here are stars :D

The currently poll indicates over 80% our members have been ov TV, amazing!

I have been on the Dutch show called " 6 PACK!" a few weeks ago. It was funny though they made me pick one from two guys. Ofcourse I picked the wrong one ( my gut s are always right!). Good laugh after all.

Another time I was on E channel with the programme called " wild on E!" , dont remember what i did there, I was to pissed!

Never been on Thai TV, not pretty enough! :o

Oh well, might as well add my name too. I've been on several TV shows back in the UK, 2 morning chat shows, one about arming the police and one about single fathers. Then I've been on a late evening dating/fun adult show. I've taken part in several documentaries to do with police work in the UK, and also in Germany and Japan.

Did the phone thing on a televised telephone appeal in the UK - made a few 'fly by' appearances. It was a good laugh too (if you ignored the crap comics - Lenny Henry etc that is).

Well, I have been just on as well so I can keep up with all the stars but my wife said "get off that thing immediately before it breaks". Obviously the way to stardome is much rougher than expected but I will get me a more durable set and give it another try. Possibly that stunt is eventually gonna get me a role in Peter Jackson's latest pic which he is presently working on. :o

P.S.: Pathetic I know but I just came back from Pratunam area and the traffic and the crowd always get me that weeeiiird feelin'......

Was interviewed by a morning chat show here on a work-related topic about 6-months ago.

A few years back did some auto racing here in a series that was televised- even managed to win a race after qualifying fifth.

The security guards in my building (who watch tv all day long) recognized each time, and a couple of former coworkers called me up to say they'd seen me. Never did leverage my brief fame to shag any models or somesuch. :o

Cheers!

I have never been on telly but I have used parts of a telly to make a Tazzar shock device

I just used the line output transformer and a 9v battery, fugging ace way to kill the neighbours cat, no mess either, just zap it with 20,000v and goodnight vienna, meowwww indeedy

By the way you can use this to rid the Soi of noisey dogs too

Got interviwed by Dr Ian a couple of years back on new years eve. When asked what our new years resolutions were, the guy next to me said to give up prostitution, to which I replied that he had been on the game for several months, but wasn't making as much as he wished. Surprisingly it aired on Pattaya mail channel.

Also appeared in the background on most of the Thai national stations when a scorned Swede decided to wrap a wire around his neck and threatened to jump of my hotels roof. A great time was had by all as hundreds of Thais lined the wall opposite to watch the fun. Odds were being given on him jumping or not, and some joker even called room service and ordered a sandwich to the roof. The inflatable went up underneath him, and he was eventually talked down by the mayor of Pattaya several hours later, much to the dissapointment of the massed Thais outside.

They use a clip of this on the opening credits of a Thai reality TV show, however, I don't feature in this.

Will also get an opportunity to appear on ESPN in the US if I do well in the World Series of Poker world championships which starts in Las Vegas next week.

:o Yes, Many, many times. In the late sixties and early seventies. TV, feature films, adverts, modeling etc.

TV programmes included Z Cars, Dr Who, The Avengers, The Saint, and others the names of which have long faded into the past. Much the same for the films as well. Do remember 2002 Space Odyssey though, Carry On films, Sci Fi's cops and robber type stuff, war films and so on.

Would still like to have a crack at it but a bit long in the tooth now, I think.
