October 10, 20178 yr Deer killed in van crash on Rayong road By The Nation A passenger van crashed into and killed a deer on a road in Rayong late on Monday night, police said on Tuesday. Police said the accident occurred at the 79 kilometre point on the Ban Bueng-Klaeng road on the Klaeng-bound lanes in Tambon Chumsaeng in Rayong’s Wang Chan district. Banthit Bamrungtua, 26, the van driver, told police that he was driving to Chanthaburi and the deer came out from the roadside in front of his van, and he could not stop in time. The deer was thrown about two metres by of the impact. Police said the deer belonged to rusa breed and it might have slipped away from a ranch belonging to local villagers.
