Literally if one were to leave LOS and come back 10 years later nothing about Immigration would have changed with the exception of increased fees and yes even more documents to submit. Also, if one uses any or all of the 800K or 400K the risk of not meeting seasoning requirment exists. I knew someone who missed the timing and had to leave the country and start over again. -

This is actually far more interesting than the part about airports. There are already a number of small brew pubs illegally selling draft beer from small producers and home brewers, some of which is of very high quality. Legalizing this will hopefully lead to more production and more venues selling these artisanal brews. -

I'm certainly not defending their actions. Rather, the underlying issue is what other choices do they have? What upward mobility opportunities are afforded for ANY youth? I think about this frequently, looking at my students and wondering what they will do after graduation. My students are largely middle class. No parents dropping their kids off in BMW's, and it appears many parents are barely able to afford sending them to a private school. Poverty is a man-made construct, and until that is remedied, you will have frustrated youth doing whatever they can to get "ahead," and Thailand doesn't have a monopoly on this problem. -

The problem is that attributes like kindness, compassion, caring only are of relevance if you are physically attracted to her in the first place. A gal can be Mother Teresa, but if she looks like her her kindness won't make you want to be with her. It's the same with women, btw, if the guy is attractive different rules apply. If he isn't it's sexual harassment. I guess nature built us for physical attraction. -

Thailand Prepares for New Year Tourist Boom: Phuket Leads With 230,000 Visitors

This surge is set to bring nearly 8 billion baht into the local economy. According to Lertchai Wangtrakuldee from the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Phuket office, tourists are likely to spend about 35,000 baht each, with daily expenses reaching 9,000 baht. Phuket's hotel occupancy is expected to exceed 80%, with events such as countdown parties, fireworks, concerts, and a coffee festival planned to entertain visitors. The Tourism Authority is also encouraging the use of electric public transport to reduce congestion. Phuket is attracting more young tourists by combining traditional spiritual activities with art toys and is seeing a rise in visitors from Australia and Saudi Arabia. In Chiang Mai, the airport is preparing for 33,000 passengers daily, a 22% increase from the previous year. There will be 205 flights each day during the holidays, and airport manager, Wing Commander Ronnakorn Chalermsanyakorn, recommends travelers arrive early for added security. That announcement translates to say they do Notary Service so that most likely means a stamp from a government office because they are one. I’d give it a shot.
