NOVO Galaxy II Model 1619

Featured Replies

Here we go again!.

My wife has come home with yet another mobile phone this time a NOVO Galaxy II Model 1619. She bought it in the local mall and the seller has put the SIMM from her old phone into this one.

Problem? I cannot see how to remove the back panel to access the SIMM and memory cards. The item is Made in China and looks to be good quality for the price. (ThB 2900) Somewhat heavy and according to the box a 2G/3G capable with Android OS.

I have looked at the importer/seller's website www.inova.co.th but no info as to how to access the battery, SIMM or data card.

Usual access would be by gently prying off the rear panel but this is very closely fitting and no obvious gap as a start point

Can anyone tell me how to access the interior please?

Right. I have found the access. It is evident that the body of the phone is sealed so no access to battery and internal data card,

On one side is an inset plastic strip with a tiny hole in one end. Provided with the accessories is a small flat metal 'key' with a 1mm tang. Poking the tang into the hole in the strip permits is to be slid out. It is a SIMM carrier a tiny tray..
