KhunBENQ
As all the redlight districts are reopened today I would be surprised if KSR is not back to normal (madness).
samsensam
bars closed, no music being played, a lot of the neon turned off and no stalls blocking the street, it's almost pleasant to walk there

baneko
It was quiet last night. I was on the second soi paralel with KSR. It is a nicer spot. Beer was in mugs. No music but the football was on. They said baxk to the usual tomorrow.Sent from my SM-G950F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

BudRight
I think people hate Khaosan rd because they remember that it used to be a good place to go and meet people, swap traveler stories and have a cheap beer. Now the visitors are not interested in talking to each other, the music is so loud that you can't even order without pantomime and the beer is more expensive that at a pub in the west.
