Latest drugs bust: Ganja gang arrested after ringleader tries to buy off cops with 15,000 baht

Springnews reported on the latest large ganja bust in Bangkok and the central region as a picture was published of the Nigerian man taken down in a cocaine raid in South Pattaya.

 

In the ganja case some 119 kilos of compressed marijuana was found awaiting delivery in a room in Soi Pracha-uthit 76 in Thung Kru district. Miss Chinanang Saisamai was arrested.

 

Springnews said that further arrests were made after after one of the gang tried to pay off the cops with 15,000 baht. 

 

The other picture was of Nigerian Kenneth Obi-ikeo being arrested in the street in South Pattaya earlier in the week. His case involved the importation of 1,900 grams of cocaine from Peru.

 

He was earlier announced as having been in league with a Thai woman who was not mentioned in the latest article.

 

The seizure of 62 guns of various calibers was also mentioned in the crime sweep story.

15,000 Baht payoff? The Cops will make a hell of allot more than that reselling the confiscated Ganja through their own Drug Network.

he should know it requires at least 20,000 baht to pay off something this serious.
