Missing man found hanged

A man who went missing in Sa Kaew's Wang Nam Yen district last week has been found dead.

 

Samai Sangchaiyaphum, 35, vanished last Tuesday and his burned motorcycle was later found in Tambon Thung Maha Charoen.

 

He was found in the middle of a nearby tapioca plantation on Sunday afternoon. He appeared to have hanged himself on a tree.

 

Police have sent his body for autopsy at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Bangkok's Police General Hospital.

 

They have also contacted his father, Dao Sangchaiyaphum, to collect the body from the morgue for religious rites.
