An illegal underground lottery seller made a crucial error when sending a fax ahead of the latest prize draw.

 

Instead of communicating with a dealer informing him of 100s of thousands of baht in illegal wagers he pressed the wrong button.

 

The fax ended up at the special branch cops in Krabi.

 

Warujirat Wanrat of the Krabi police confirmed the story that has caused much merriment among the Thai public online.

 

Smiling he said that investigations were underway to locate the sender and intended receiver of the errant fax.

 

Playing the national lottery is legal but many chose to play on the underground lottery that is against the law.

So, whoever sent the fax' used a machine with a speed dial button for Krabi Special Branch on it.

 

Now, who would have such a fax' machine?

 

What is a FAX? Thought they went out in the 90s.
