No water in Khao Takiap For Two Days.

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any info on the water being turned off in Khao Takiap?

(South of Hua Hin)

I have had the water stop for a few hours, maybe 1/2 a day, but never two days.

Yes, flooding everywhere a couple of weeks ago, now a water shortage.

It actually started a couple of days ago and has been on and off for some people. I guess most people may or may not notice depending on the size of their water tanks.

I've been told fire department water trucks will be out tomorrow if it's still an issue. The waters still working here but I suspect it's due to the large underground tank.

A classic case of , water water everywhere, but nary a drop to drink!

I am on Pranburi water, at the top of 88. ok so far but thanks for the heads up, will keep an eye on it, and post any info I have....

Plenty of water at the Hilton resort.

Same thing happened back in 2015. As pointed out, it all depends on where you get your water. Those supplied from the Pranburi dam/reservoir are ok ,at least that's what my friend says but he doesn't live in KT.

They've turned it back on now. For how long is anyones guess.

Apparently there's been some work going on recently so this appears to have been planned in some way.

Now I'm hearing that the water supply has been turned off again.

Hopefully, the work is done and the system flushed before the tourists arrive  en masse starting next week.
