argoscrete Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 I am based in Chalong, Phuket and recently purchased a 1gb Pendoo Android box with various programmes/apps included, which it was claimed would allow access to sports TV (for me that is mainly - cricket, rugby, F1 & Liverpool!). Sometimes I get a picture, but usually it freezes, buffers for minutes on end or I receive a message saying that service has stopped. Seller of box says it is a server, not broadband supplier, problem. At wits end - how can I reliably watch sports broadcasts. Help please, thanks Sent from my [device_name] using http://Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
Forkinhades Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 You will need a paid subscription from True or CTH. Sent from my SM-N950F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

I suggest the o/p will always struggle with 1GB RAM units. 3GB is best to avoid buffer with a premium service.
argoscrete Posted December 25, 2017 Author Posted December 25, 2017 Again thanks. Where to get 3gb Android box - any model or maker? Sent from my [device_name] using http://Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Lite Beer Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Get the best Android box you can afford. Nvidia Shield is the best out there but not cheap. https://www.lazada.co.th/catalog/?q=nvidia+shield Subscribe to a good IPTV service. Loads of them out there for around 600 Baht a month.

janclaes47 Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 For a paid IPTV service you don't need 3Gb, 1Gb is more than enough for IPTV streaming. MAG boxes are only 512Mb and are used a lot for streaming. If you want to run Kodi, which offers you all that for free, you need 2Gb. Nvidia Shield is a waste of money for what the OP wants, unless he also want to play high end games.

That should be posted in the pub forum. How would it ever be possible to stream geographically restricted content LEGALLY in a geographic area where it is restricted to be streamed. Answer on a postcard please. FYI using a vpn or any other tools to bypass the geographical restriction doesn't make it legal.
