PC Monitor

A PC Monitor usually doesn't have speakers so no audio cable or connection, sound comes from laptop speakers. You can however buy monitors with built in speakers, 3.5mm or HDMI for audio. Also you could buy a TV (maybe similar price to a monitor) and use it as a monitor, HDMI connection.

A dedicated monitor is best for close viewing but most don't have speakers.

If using for media streaming a 24" TV with HDMI input should be OK but the screen will appear pixilated close up so look for the best resolution you can get.

We bought an LG TV/Monitor combo from Lazada for our daughter who streams YouTube videos etc. and I use it occasionally for basic use. It's OK but if I was using for long periods I would go for a high resolution monitor.

Thanks guys.

I have opted for the following PC monitor (without speakers) connected to a VGA cable which will do me just fine:

Searched for the same model and found it to be cheaper at IT City:

Cheers.
